My friend Nicole sold me on buying used and refurbished furniture! Savvy shoppers have lots of reasons to purchase secondhand— going Green, saving a few bucks, buying vintage. For me, it’s
less about saving the earth (sorry Jaime!) and more about the high of getting a great piece of
furniture without paying retail.
It’s about being able to purchase items I would have otherwise not been able
to.
So where do I look for brand name furniture pieces? Craigslist. You’ll need to invest a bit of time surfing the web,
and depending on where you live, you might have to expand your area search.
